Laser Lipolysis Treatment

Laser lipolysis is a minimally invasive procedure that uses laser energy to remove fat cells from the body. It is a relatively new procedure, and the long-term results are still being studied. However, early studies have shown that laser lipolysis can be effective in reducing body fat and improving body contour.

Treatment Information:

1) What is laser lipolysis? (Laser Lipo)

Lipo laser is a technique used to aid in shrinking stubborn fat cells, and reduce scar tissue with the use of laser diodes. This treatment should not replace exercise or a healthy diet. To aid in shrinking stubborn fat cells, and reduce scar tissue the client must be committed to regular exercise and eating foods high in collagen protein. The process of fatty acid release is a natural response of the body when it needs to use stored energy reserves, without damaging any other structures in the body.

2) Benefits

Here are some of the benefits of laser lipo body treatment:

  • Targeted fat reduction: Laser lipo can target specific areas of the body where fat deposits are present. The laser energy melts the fat, which is then naturally removed y your body.
  • Tightening of skin: The laser energy used in laser lipo also has a skin-tightening effect, which can result in smoother & firmer skin.
  • Improved overall body shape: Laser lipo can help improve the overall shape of the body by removing stubborn fat deposits & creating a more sculpted appearance.
  • Reduced risk of complications: Laser lipo has a lower risk of complications compared to traditional liposuction, as it involves less trauma to the body and requires no incisions.
3) Who should AVOID this treatment?
  • Women with pregnancy and women that breastfeed their babies (or, in general, lactate)
  • Patients that have cancer, or had cancer in the past
  • Patients with a cardiac history, pacemakers, and other heart issues (or implants)
  • Thyroid issues
  • Circulatory (blood) system issues and/or hypertension
  • Diabetes issues (and in particular, type-1 diabetes)
  •  Autoimmune disorders
  •  Photo-sensitivity (that is, exposure to the sun causes problems)
  • Liver problems
  • Kidney and/or retinal problems
  • A metallic implant or prior prosthesis procedure done
  • Uncontrolled infection of any sort (after control, subject to a medical opinion)
  • People having lymphatic disorders and lymph drainage issues
  • Open wounds that are not yet healed
  • Infections of the skins
  • Tattooed parts of the body need to be precautioned against.
  • Children under 18 years of age should not take lipo laser sessions without explicit medical permission
4) How many treatments is required

Up to 12 sessions, 48 – 72 hours after the previous session. (allows the body to eliminate the fat between sessions)
